Membership to [RUF] is by invitation only and, members must be at least 16 years of age.

[RUF]'s founding principles are: Respect, Unity, and Fun.

If you have been invited to [RUF] first let us offer our congratulations! You have demonstrated to someone in [RUF] that you respect the founding principles of our clan. Now the next step is to get to know more of us. This can be done by being active in both the [RUF] server(s), the forums and, if you are so inclined, our TeamSpeak server (info located on the homepage when you login).

The goal of the [RUF] clan is to provide a sense of camaraderie in a family-friendly atmosphere. It is not just about enjoying the game, but also about developing a sense of fellowship and friendship among our members. Much of this is done through our forums and teamspeak, where we value playfulness, wit and humility in the topics of conversation. Above all we expect members of [RUF] to show respect for their clan mates and others.

Don't get us wrong, we enjoy a good joke like anyone else (even some crude ones from time to time), however being playful, humorous and witty is not about being mean, hurtful, or disrespectful to your fellow clan mates or fellow players. Quite often it is better to poke fun at yourself, thereby encouraging your clan mates and fellow players, creating a fun, friendly atmosphere.

As a whole, [RUF] strives to provide its members with:
• Greater gaming knowledge so to allow you to become a better player
• Greater technical knowledge about your hobby
• Friendship and fun interaction
• Competition and challenge

Our expectations of members:
• Have fun
• Be friendly to everyone and treat people with respect
• Behave with dignity wherever you are - once you wear the [RUF] tags you represent all of us.
• Participate in clan activities
• Treat your clan members like they were part of an extended family.
• NEVER Hack
• DO NOT Swear, insult or harass anyone be it the gaming servers or the forums
• DO NOT be a sore winner or loser
• DO NOT brag about how good you are. If you are that good, everyone already knows

To ensure that there is no confusion on our expectations of you as a future member of [RUF] you must agree to the following terms before you can move on to the next step in the clan application process.

1) I agree that I will respect all administrators and clan members on the servers, forums and in Teamspeak. I will do my best not to argue with a clan member in the servers, forums, or Teamspeak. If I have a problem or concern I will contact Ice Man or a {BoD} member for assistance via Private Message (PM) on the forums.

2) I agree that I will keep my language at an appropriate level in the server at all times and I will warn other users of their use of this language.

3) I agree that I will not hack or exploit in any way shape or form. If found hacking you will be immediately removed from the clan.

4) I agree that I am responsible for my identity (GUID). I WILL NOT share my CD Key with anyone. I recognize that my Name/GUID being banned will reflect poorly upon [RUF] and demean [RUF]'s reputation. To put it in other terms, you are responsible for who uses your game.

5) I agree I will not maintain a membership in any other clans. I also agree that by playing in ANY server, that I will respect all other players and clans. I will not attempt to recruit people in the servers of other clans and if I see other clans recruiting in our servers will ask them to stop.

6) While we realize that there is much more to life than gaming, by becoming a clan member you are indicating you will be involved in our community/family. If at any time you feel you need time away, please let an Administrator know. We may decide to classify you as a 'retired' member of [RUF], only so we can keep track of who is active and who is not.
